GRAND CANYON

When we decided to take a family trip to the Grand Canyon we knew we needed an easy place for our parents to be able to walk around and enjoy the epic views. Hiking trails were not in the books for us on this trip, as our focus was to enjoy the scenery with our family. The Grand Canyon Village, located on the South Rim, was an excellent choice. The area is complete with visitor centers, paved walk-ways, accessible lookouts, discovery centers, shops, lodging, places to eat and more. Not to mention the entire village feels like a step back in time.

Our favorite area within the park was the Yavapai Point. This area seemed to get us away from the more crowded Mather Point and we found parking at this location quite easily. Not to mention the sunset at this location is spectacular!
