YOHO NATIONAL PARK

We woke at 4:30 am to catch the sunrise at Emerald Lake. Our expectations were blown away when we stepped out of the truck and found ourselves surrounded in the most heavenly scenery on Earth. The blue-green water and the sunlight starting to gleam on the Presidential Mountain Range easily made this one of our favorite sites in all of the Canadian Rockies. Emerald Lake has a rare peaceful beauty that makes it the shining jewel of the Yoho National Park.
